How Projections Really Work

Understand what a projection is, what it is not, and how to use it inside a disciplined DFS process.

A projection is an estimate, not a promise. It is a structured way to summarize what a player may produce under a set of assumptions about opportunity, efficiency, matchup and game environment.

The value of a projection comes from how you use it. A good process compares projected output with salary, roster construction, contest structure and your own football judgment.
